The OPTIONS menu has three selections:

FONTS
The font size and font type used to render most of the text within the Unity windows can be set from the FONTS dialog. Invoke the FONTS dialog by selecting FONTS from the Unity OPTIONS menu.
![](/apputil/image/handler.ashx?imgid=2010940&w=441&h=191)
Select the desired font size from the Font Size: pull-down menu and the desired font style from the Font Style: pull-down menu. A sample of the specified font style and size will be displayed within the Preview: window.
- To apply the selected font settings to the Unity window, select OK.
- To return to the default font settings (Font Style: Arial, Font Size: 12 point), select DEFAULT.
- To exit the FONT dialog without changing the Unity font settings, select CANCEL.
Note that each person controls only the display on his or her monitor.
When selecting a font size, remember that a larger font will provide a clearer view, but will be unable to display as much text as a smaller font size.

- Enable private chat blinking
Check the Enable private chat blinking box to receive notification via a blinking title bar when you receive a new PRIVATE CHAT message in a window that is not currently the active window within Unity. The blink stops when you activate that PRIVATE CHAT window by selecting it.
- Show Enter/Leave msg
Check the Show Enter/Leave msg box to provide a notification message with a time stamp each time a person enters or leaves Unity. Many instructors prefer to have this box unchecked to minimize the messages displayed in the CONFERENCE ROOM window. Many moderators use these messages to identify participants who may require assistance with connectivity problems.
- Private Chat
There are three Private Chat settings:
- Allow private chat
- No chat from participants
- No chat from below
When Allow private chat is selected, users of any level can initiate a private chat with you.
When No chat from participants is selected, participant level users will be unable to initiate a private chat with you.
When No chat from below is selected, only users of the same or higher level will be able to initiate a private chat with you.
The Private Chat setting is immediately active upon selection.
- Visibility
The following options control the display of your name on the user list to the right of the classroom window:
- Visible to all
- Invisible to participants
- Invisible below your level
The Visibility setting is immediately active upon selection.
Your name will be displayed with enclosing parenthesis in the user list when the Visible to all option is not specified. This will notify those users who are of a sufficiently high level to view your name that you are currently invisible to some portion of the class population.
