General Information: The August 26th interactive session and the library will be open to veterinarians and veterinary students. You need not be a member of VIN to participate in the interactive session. The gold-colored navigation bar at the top of this page will take you to the library, classroom, and message boards (VIN members only) for the event. You DO NOT need to register for the course UNLESS you wish to take it for CE credits.

CE Credit (1.5 hours) will be available by arrangement, but you must notify us in advance that you intend to participate in the course for credit. Participation in the course for credit requires access to the course message boards. To register for this course, please use the online registration. You may email CEonVIN@vin.com for details on registration for credit and how to access the message boards. CE certificates will be given only to those who register before Thursday, 5 pm PDT on August 23, 2007.

VIN has upgraded the VIN Unity Classroom software. This requires you to have the latest version of Macromedia Flash installed.

Prior to the �live� session, the VIN CE department will schedule a couple of different practice sessions to familiarize new CE takers with some of the functions of the NEW VIN Unity classroom.

Because the "live session" will utilize the NEW VIN Unity, it is recommended that ALL course participants plan to attend one of the two practice sessions.

You do not need to schedule in advance or be present for the whole session; just drop by for a few moments. It should take approximately 10 - 20 minutes to go over everything and ensure everything is working well for you.

At the time of the session, you will access the Unity classroom from the CLASSROOM page.

Follow-up discussions after the session will take place on the PublicCE message boards. To participate in the post-session discussions, you must be a VIN member. Veterinarians who are not VIN members may sign up for a 30-day free trial membership to VIN in order to access the message boards.*

A transcript of the session will be available for members to download after the session. Non-members will be asked to provide an email address when entering the real-time session. We will contact you at that address after the session in order to provide non-members their transcript.
