VetzInsight welcomes comments and feedback. It is our hope to foster a thoughtful discourse on the complexities of veterinary care. Comments are moderated to help safeguard readers against spam and harmful or abusive language. While our moderation policy is subject to human variability, in general, the following types of comments will not be posted:

  • Foul language 
  • Abusive personal attacks
  • Off-topic diatribes
  • Commercialism, including any specific product or company recommendations
  • Specific medical advice -- as veterinarians, we cannot prescribe any treatment or recommend any specific procedures without examining an animal, and we will hold the comments section to this standard as well

VIN News Service commentaries are opinion pieces presenting insights, personal experiences and/or perspectives on topical issues by members of the veterinary community. To submit a commentary for consideration, email news@vin.com.
