Who We Are

The VIN Student Team is a group of veterinarians who work with students, interns, residents, and academic members.

As of 2022, the team is led by Miranda Spindel and includes:

VIN Student Team Mission

• Provide support, outreach, and education in a variety of ways including Rounds, emails, etc.
• Respond personally to every student email.
• Publish weekly a VIN Student Scoop Newsletter for all VIN Student Members, House Officer Headlines for interns and residents, and eNews for Educators for academic, intern, and resident members.
• Hold weekly Student Rounds on topics of particular interest to students.
• Build content for students on VIN including the Student Center, which was new on VIN in 2016 and is now the landing page for all student members.
• Constantly look for new ways to engage student, intern, resident, and academic members.

How To Help

• Stay up to date with what’s happening for students by visiting the Student Center regularly.
• Do you have an affiliation with a local veterinary school? Questions or comments for the team? Email students@vin.com
• Share VIN Student flyers and handouts.
• Reach out before attending a student event. A presentation and materials can be provided!
