The city of Annapolis is one of the major centers where the disturbed areas are becoming more extensive, being common to " invasion " by wild animals due to lack of necessary for the development of the ecological niche of each species areas. Observing this fact, we carried out a quantitative analysis of the rescued wild animals in the city by the Center for Zoonoses - CCZ from October 2012 to January 2014, dividing them by zoological class, based on database CCZ and scientific materials because it is a topic of great environmental and public health importance, because the animals can transmit zoonoses to humans. The study method used included literature survey for the acquisition of knowledge on the subject and subsequent completion of the proposed case study. According to the records of the CCZ, the period of study 197 specimens were recovered in the urban area of the city. Of the total 189 specimens corresponding to the year 2013 period of greatest occurrence. Search this study is encouraging conservation and protection of wildlife, as well as for the entire biodiversity, Environmental education and health education programs for the population in order to make them aware of the importance of the entire ecosystem and their interactions the risks of disease transmission, so that future additional actions to protect biodiversity through the public conservation units, and adoption of best practices in production systems are promoted.
