Blood was obtained from ten "clinically normal" West Indian Manatees. The hemograms, chemo-grams and coagulograms were examined. The red cells are large and are present in low numbers. The heterophils are confused with eosinophils on Wright's stained smears, however, with Luna stain, they are easily differentiated. All clotting factors are present. Blood chemical findings do not differ significantly from domestic animals.
