The present study refers to a vaginal neoplasia in an 8 year-old intact queen presented with dyschesia since approximately 30 days. A physical examination revealed reduced body weight, dehydration, normal rectal temperature and abdominal palpation sensibility. A firm and nonmobile mass in abdominal hypogastric area was palpable with approximately 3-4cm. Rectal examination revealed colon stricture. An abdominal ultrasound scan showed a solid, grossly hypoechoic tumor of 3,2 x 2,9cm in diameter caudal to the bladder which promoted a dorsal deviation of the colon. The uterine horns and body presented enlarged with 1,4 cm in diameter, irregular and heterogeneous. Contrast radiography (iodinated enema) was carried out and revealed a rectal lumen stricture, as well as of the descendent portion of the colon. These patency resulted from a regular, oval-shaped neoplastic formation located from the pelvis to the abdominal hypogastric region. The patient was submitted to an exploratory laparotomy, during which a fibrous vaginal neoplasia was located at the cranial left vaginal vault and subsequently removed. Ovariohysterectomy was also carried out. Pathological evaluation confirmed a vaginal leiomyoma.
