Dues for the calendar year Jan 1/72-Dec 31/72 are now being accepted. The dues for members are $15.00/year, associate members $10.00/year and for patrons $50.00 per year. There are many who are still in arrears for 1971. According to our Constitution, anyone in arrears for two years will be dropped from the membership list. There is a self-explanatory enclosure from our president.
A copy of the condensed program of a symposium that will be held in Harderwijk Holland, on Feb. 10 and 11/1972, follows. This symposium is on the biological, medical and technical problems at the Dolfinarium.

This next item is for your information from our president-elect.
Dear Fellow Members:
As you have no doubt noted by the minutes (published in our Newsletter No. 12) of our business meeting in Guelph, the 3rd Annual Conference and Workshop of the IAAAM will be held at the University of Hawaii and Sea Life Park. The specific days proposed are the 17th, 18th, and 19th of April, 1972.
This year's meeting will emphasize clinical problems of marine mammals in captivity - by individual presentations and panel discussions of 1. Nutrition, 2. Immunization and Preventive Medicine, 3. Clinical Diagnostics and Therapeutics, and 4. Sedation, Anesthesia and Surgery. Papers on fish medicine and basic research in aquatic animal medicine and related topics will round out the program.
I appeal to you all to come and make up for the sun and warmth expectations unfulfilled at our last meeting, and participate in the program.
All members who would like to present papers or contribute to a particular panel discussion are invited now to submit abstracts or indicate to me which panels they wish to serve on. Please do so as soon as possible and no later than January 14. My address is:
