U.S. Army Veterinary Corps Operationally Deploys the Mobile Marine Mammal Clinic

The Mobile Marine Mammal Clinic (3MC) is a self contained clinic that the U.S. Army personnel at the Space and Naval Warfare Systems
Center, San Diego (SPARWARSYSCEN, San Diego) developed to provide the very best health care to the Navy's marine mammals in field type operations. This
clinic allows the veterinary staff to perform advanced diagnostics and administer treatment to animals while on deployment. The 3MC can be shipped anywhere
in the world by several different conveyances i.e., airplane, ship, truck, helicopter. The 3MC has been field tested in support of three Navy deployments
with great success. The structure is a Shelter, Electrical Equipment (S-502/GRC 1142-B) container reconfigured for our application. This enclosure can be
configured to suit a variety of applications, such as use by stranding networks, field researchers, or as a mobile laboratory. The national stock order
number is DAAB07-74-C-0119 and is still available in the national stock system for military personnel. Individuals who wish to obtain this item should
