Joining a Zoom Webinar Real Time Session

If this is your first VIN/VSPN class using the Zoom webinar, you will need to download the Zoom application before your first Real Time Session.

  • Go to https://zoom.us/download.

  • In the Download Center, click and download the Zoom Client for Meetings.






  • On some computers you will see an Install pop-up window that will ask you to confirm you would like to run the program.






  • Once Zoom has finished installing the application will appear in your computer taskbar at the bottom the monitor or in your application or downloads folder.
    Note: you do not need to locate the Zoom application, as you will be entering the webinar from the Course Area not through the application dashboard.






  • You can now return to your Course Main Page and click the orange "Enter Classroom" button (or click on "CLASSROOM" in the navigation bar) - see red arrows below.
    You will not need to repeat the previous download steps for any future webinar sessions you attend. You will only need to select the orange "Enter Classroom" button and complete the following steps.






  • On the registration page please fill in the First Name, Last Name, Email Address, and Confirm Email Address fields. Click on the "I'm not a robot" button and select the "Join Webinar in Progress" button. Note: when entering your email please be sure you are entering the email you used to enroll in the CE course as this is how we track your participation points.






  • Confirm you would like to open the webinar and open your Zoom application.






  • You may briefly see a "Launching" window, as your webinar loads.






  • You are in the room. Once in the room, you will see either the VIN/VSPN logo or someone else's shared screen.
