![]() Jessica Quimby, DVM, DACVIM of Colorado State University needs your help. This study compares the appetite stimulating and anti-nausea properties of mirtazapine to placebo. This study can be performed at your clinic. The investigators are offering a $200 incentive for each cat completing the study and will reimburse $36 for each of the three exams required by the study. The chemistry panels will be performed at CSU at no cost. The costs of T4 analysis and urine culture will also be covered. The owner receives 6 months of cat food and 2 months of compounded mirtazapine after the conclusion of the study. Check the clinical trials page to see if any of the ongoing trials might make new or novel therapies available for your patients. If you would like to add your clinical trial or research project, please complete this survey or contact mrishniw@vin.com. | ||

Did you know that colleagues working in the same practice qualify for group membership rates? If more than one member of your practice is using a single VIN login, you and your colleagues should each have your own login and be billed as a group membership. This helpful FAQ will explain how group memberships work. If you still have questions contact membership services at vingram@vin.com, or call membership services at 1-800-700-4636 (toll free) or 1-530-756-4881 (local).
