Course Information:
This course is exactly what it sounds like – amphibians 101, or a beginner’s guide to the basics of amphibian medicine. The focus is on frogs, most specifically, pet frogs that might be likely to present in practice – however, the techniques discussed would be appropriate for application to most sick amphibians. The approach to basic husbandry, taking a good history, performing a physical exam, and an introduction to diagnostics, common diseases, and therapy options are included. The hope is to take someone with minimal frog experience to being able to work through a sick frog case with confidence. To earn a certificate of completion the participant must complete all learning modules and score 80% or better on the end-of-course test. Completion of the course will take a minimum of 153 minutes. Participants must complete the participation requirements by June 30, 2023 to be eligible for a certificate. To learn more about the requirements for earning a Self Study CE certificate, please refer to Self Study CE Certificate Requirements.
