Course Description
This intermediate fish medicine course is designed to further your experience with fish medicine. The basic concepts will be expanded and applied to case examples. The instructors are experienced fish practitioners who will provide important tips on running a fish practice as well as the important issues facing aquatic medicine.
COURSE OUTLINE:
Week 1 (February 26): Review of Basics
Week 3 (March 12): Infectious and Non-Infectious Diseases (Weber and Reavill)
Week 4 (March 19): Regulatory Issues (Merrill and Egrie)

All course registrants: Please be aware that this is an intermediate level course, which assumes a basic level of knowledge on fish medicine. This basic level of knowledge may constitute completion of the Basic Fish Medicine course or past or current experience in a fish practice. Please read the course description and weekly outline carefully to judge whether this is the appropriate course for you.

COURSE WITHDRAWAL AND REFUND POLICY: Withdrawal prior to the listed start date of a course entitles the registrant to a complete refund or a credit toward a future VIN CE course, whichever is preferred. Withdrawal within 1 week after the listed start date (i.e. including no more than one real-time session) entitles the registrant to a credit toward any future VIN CE course. (Does not apply to courses with only one real-time session.) After the first real-time session, a registrant may withdraw due to special circumstances and receive prorated credit towards a future VIN course. These requests will be handled on an individual basis. The amount of the prorated credit will be determined based on 65% of the time remaining in the course at the time of withdrawal. It is not possible to withdraw retroactively.
